Midlands
Regional Youth Service, or MRYS, has been in operation since 1960.
The primary role of MRYS was to provide support in the form of
training for young people and adults involved in the establishment
of youth clubs through the Midlands region.
As
an affiliate member of the National Youth Federation, the first
of the youth community projects were initiated in 1988 and by
1995 the Midlands Regional Youth Services was firmly established!

to provide, by means of a multi agency approach, a range of support
programmes to young people who are experiencing difficulties in
the school, social situations or involvement in crime. |
